Here’s a video i uploaded onto youtube after the NUFC v SAFC back in October. By the way, we hammered them 5 -1!
This is literally my favourite ever live video. This band put on an insane live show, infact one of the best i’ve seen.
Great band. Great Song. Great Live.
Here’s a video i found on One cool thing a day. This pretty cool.
Time.
Is it really November already? Yes it is. This year has flown over, which worries me. It seems that as i am getting older, time is moving a hell of a lot quicker. For instance, today, the 2nd of November, is my sisters birthday. She is 16 as of now. I remember my 16th birthday very well, alright, it was only about 3 and a half years ago, but when i was younger a year was a long long time, never mind 3 and a half of them! But back to my sister, to me, she is still ‘my little sister’ and she seems young, even though, she’s not into playing with dolls and all that stuff, but now into doing her make-up and her hair and constantly sitting infront of that massive computer screen (probably talking to boys) every hour of the day!
So everyone around me is growing older, my best mates either already have or are soon to be turning 21 and 18. My Dad, well his 50th is in March next year, but me, i still feel 15! I mean, i drive, i drink, i go to university and have my own responsibilities, but i definitely dont feel like im soon to turn 20. A scary though.
Moving on.
Last weekend just gone the clocks turned back an hour. After a few seconds of thought, a debate was underway between some of my friends and myself. What happens with time within that hour? I put forward my theory, which i have to say is quite absurd; when the clock goes back that hour, are we in fact not actually in time, are we in fact in limbo? Just floating in between time. Time traveling? I quite like the thought of that, but also, quite like making silly theories up to have a laugh about. Someone added a point to this argument of being stuck in limbo; if we are not actually in time, if we were to die, at say 1:15am, then as it gets to 2am the clock gets turned back to 1am, would we then awake to the world and time traveled back to try and stop our death from ever occurring 15 minutes later. What a wild suggestion that it is!
On another note, that same weekend, i was at St. James’ Park in Newcastle, as i watched my beloved Newcastle United thrash the mackems 5 goals to 1. It was without a doubt the best match i have ever been to. The atmosphere was electric, one song after another and i would probably say i was on my feet more than i was sitting down. Each player was well up for it, and nobodies performance could be at fault. Shola Ameobi, who i have said for years is total shite, in my eyes had his best game for the club and his two goals topped it off. This season he seems like a different player, instead of playing the stupid ball or just generally, constantly making mistakes, he has more purpose in his play, confidently passing the ball, running at players and shooting with confidence. Kevin Nolan, now joint top scorer in the league, well as well as scoring a hatrick, he was outstanding, as was Joey Barton (my player of the season, so far). Infact the list could go on. All in all, we beat Sunderland 5-1 and i will definitely not get sick of saying that.
Also this week, band practice started again, we have started writing for the new band. I’ll post some videos and photos soon.
Till next time, Namaste.
Another awesome song, off their awesome EP, ‘We Lived’. Predicting big things for these lads.
Already loved the song and the video makes it even more impressive.
